Group Rules

Joining

In order to join you must first have one or more emoticon original characters.

What qualifies as an OC is debatable but if you are new to emoting try to have something more developed than a coloured circle with eyes.

While it is not a requirement it is advisable not to create an OC just for the sake of joining the group.

Submitions

All encyclopedia articles should be submitted to 'Encyclopedia Entries'

Regular deviations featuring OCs can be submitted to the appropriate 'OC' folders depending on the name of the OC. You can submit anything involving your OC, eg. project/contest entries but try to avoid submitting simple profile shots as that should be covered in the article for the emote.

A limit of 10 deviations a week can be submitted to each folder.

Here is the template that can be used to create your OC's Profile

Remember to read the artist comments before you ask any questions. If your question is already answered in the description it saves a lot of hassle. If you still have questions feel free to ask me (=Wooded-Wolf)

It can be customised as much as you want but should retain the information asked for. There's more information in the description of the deviation.

When you submit your entry submit it to 'Encyclopedia Entries' not 'Featured'

Hello, I've just created my Article, however, the preview image shows this weird graybox behind it. If you check out my gallery, you'll see what I mean. The image is a .png, what should I do to remove it? Also wondering how we can submit to the License gallery.

Transparent PNG files tend to have that box behind them, I don't know how to fix it (unless you try saving it in another format) but unless it bothers you it's not really a problem

I've looked into the submission settings for the License gallery and you should be able to submit to it now

That's really weird! I've saved a lot of previews before as a PNG file and never had that happen. I've seen some other preview pics by other people like that... D= Do you know why it sometimes has that and sometimes do or have any suggestions as to other formats that's also transparent?
